Spaghetti Dinner
February 22 The projects committee of the Anglican Parish of Annapolis is holding a Spaghetti Dinner at St Luke's Hall on February 22. Two sittings: 5 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Cost is $8 or $4 for children under 12 years. Salad, spaghetti with meat sauce [vegetarian option available], Italian bread with flavoured butters, and an ice cream sundae buffet for dessert. For tickets call the Parish office at 532-0913.
Band Showcase
February 23 The Annapolis County High School Band Showcase will take place on Saturday, Feb. 23 at Annapolis West Education Centre. Enjoy performances by the concert bands from MRHS, BRHS, and AWEC, as well as a massed band performance by all three. The concert begins at 6 p.m. in the gymnasium at AWEC.
Adult Skating
February 23 Adult skating will be held at the Bridgetown Arena, 26 Jeffrey Street, February 16 from 6:45 to 7:45 p.m. Admission $4.
Pre-Easter Breakfast
February 23 The Bear River United Baptist Church will hold a Pre-East Breakfast at 9:30 a.m. Guest speaker will be Rev. Fred Bigelow. There will be a hymn sing. Free will donation. (More breakfasts on March 1, 8 & 15.)

Cribbage tournament
February 23 Cribbage Tournament at the Middleton Legion Branch #1 with registration at 12 noon and play starting at 1 p.m. All entrance monies returned in prizes, canteen available. Members and guests welcome. Must be 19 years of age. Call 825-4751 for more information.
CNIB fundraiser
February 24 The Middleton and District Lions Club are having a Roast Turkey Supper from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m. at their hall in Nictaux, (wheelchair accessible). Cost is $8 for adults and $5 for children under 12. Take outs available by calling 825-4374 (pick-up only).

Citrus and Plant Sale
March 6 The Annapolis Royal Schools Bands are selling citrus fruit and potted flowers to raise funds. Oranges and grapefruit ($38 full case, $20 half case, $10 quarter case). Six inch potted gerbera daisies, pansies, and violas in assorted colours ($10). Place an order with a band member or call 532-0444 by March 6. Pick up date is Saturday, April 5 at ARRA.
Benefit Auction
March 15 A Chinese Auction is being held at the Cambridge Community Hall from 10am to 2pm, draw starts at 2 p.m. Proceeds are for the Hazelwood family of Kingston who lost their home and belongings to a house fire on New Years Eve.
