Digby will host the division three senior girls basketball Western Regionals this Friday and Saturday, Feb. 15 and 16.
The top two teams from the Valley and the top two from the South Shore meet at Regionals.
Digby coach Tyler Crowell expects all the games to be close.
In the weekend’s first games, the first place Valley team (Digby) places the second place team from the South Shore (Bridgewater) and the first place South Shore team (New Germany) meets the second place Valley team (Kings-Edgehill).
All games will be played at the Digby Regional High School gym.
The Lady Mariners were undefeated this season in the Valley league with an 8-0 record.
Digby finished the season with a couple of key wins over KES of Windsor: 53-46 on Monday, Feb. 4 and 54 – 50 on Tuesday, Feb. 5.
