Valley Regional reopens for visitors
As of noon Thursday, Valley Regional Hospital was back open for visitors after being closed since Tuesday due to a flood condition from a broken sprinkler pipe.

Visitors were being asked to use alternate entrances as the cleanup of the main lobby continues.

Visitors to patients on the Medical Unit were being asked to use the the cafeteria entrance next to the helipad on Level One.

All other visitors are asked to use the Cardiac Investigation Unit entrance next to the emergency room.

If you have an emergency, call 911 or proceed to the nearest emergency room. The Valley Regional emergency room remains open for urgent cases.

For non-urgent health issues, the public is encouraged to access community health centres in Wolfville or Berwick.

When arriving at Valley Regional, please follow the signs for the appropriate entrances to the services you need.

For the latest updates on the situation, contact the Annapolis Valley Health status line at 1-866-430-4284 or visit www.avdha.nshealth.ca.
