Cocaine seizure in Danesville

The vehicle was stopped on Highway 103.

The cocaine was seized from passenger, Shaun Weagle, 34, of Liverpool. The driver, Tara Knox, 38, of Liverpool, was also arrested. They are both charged with Trafficking in Cocaine and Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking. Knox is also charged with a Breach of Undertaking.

Both accused are scheduled to appear in Liverpool Provincial Court on Feb. 19.

The charges are a result of a joint investigation between Queens RCMP and South Shore Street Crime Unit.
