The Liverpool Curling Club will be an active spot over several months with a variety of events taking place. On Feb. 9, the club will hold a Spaghetti Supper at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $10 per person.
The Liverpool Curling Club will host the Senior Mens' Provincial Championships from Feb. 13-17. This bonspiel will showcase teams whose members must be over 50 years of age.
On Feb. 23, the annual Curl for Cancer will be held. Anyone wishing more information on this event should contact Ann Belfontaine at 354-3736.
Feb. 29 to March 1 sees the top Western Regional High School teams competing for the right to advance in the Nova Scotia School Athletic Federation Playdowns.
The Liverpool Curling Club will be hosting the PANS Junior Mixed Championships from March 8-11 and the following week March 17-18 the Rofihe Trophy Competition will be held at the local club. This competition is between senior curlers from Bridgewater, Lunenburg and Liverpool.
In addition to these special activities, regular curling is continuing at the local club. Senior curling is held Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings starting at 9:30 a.m. Evening curling is available to anyone 16 years of age and over on Monday and Wednesday at 7 p.m. and on Tuesday and Thursday with draws at 6:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.
