Conrad fined after breaking student’s jaw
Nick Conrad, 19, of Mill Village was fined nearly $1,800 and placed on two years probation for breaking the jaw of a male high school student and a breach of an undertaking.
He pleaded guilty to assault causing bodily harm Jan. 15 in Liverpool Provincial Court.
He has also been ordered to undergo anger management counseling in addition to counseling for substance abuse and mental health issues.
He also must pay $800 in restitution to the victim and submit a DNA sample to the National Registry.
He cannot have any contact with the victim and must stay away from outlets serving or selling alcohol.
Conrad, without provocation, broke the student’s jaw at a prom party at Beach Meadows beach June 26, 2007. The victim also lost a tooth.
