Look Good, Feel Better
January 12 The monthly Look Good Feel Better workshop, helping women deal with the appearance related side-effects of cancer and it's treatment, will be held from 10 a.m. to12 noon in the private dining room of the cafeteria at Valley Regional Hospital in Kentville. Living With ProstateCancer
January 15 A public information session for learning about and living with prostate cancer will be held at 7 p.m. in the Acadia Cinema, Wolfville. This session is for men over 40, and their families, to ask medical professionals and those living with prostate cancer, about prevention, detection, treatment and the personal impact of this disease. Hosted by the Wolfville Rotary and the local Eastern Valley VIP Prostate Cancer support group. More info at:

Centennial Public Meeting

Substance Use Seminar
January 22 A Community Information Session on Youth Substance Use and Adolescent Addiction Services will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 22, 7 p.m. at the Middleton Regional High School Library. A look at the physical and behavioural signs of substance use, trends among Nova Scotia students, tips on how to talk to youth about use, and how to encourage youth to avoid use as well as information on services and programs. Guest speaker will be Jennifer Youden, Adolescent Worker - Addiction Services, Soldiers Memorial Hospital. This program is being sponsored by the Middleton Regional High School Advisory Council.
Stability Ball class
