Magic moments
The annual downtown Christmas tree lighting was magical for young and old Friday, Nov. 30 in Windsor. The 30-foot tree, purchased by the Windsor Business Enhancement Society, was a beacon of light in the downtown core and welcomed the Valley Voices, who caroled that evening. The tree’s brilliance, of course, lit the way for Santa Claus, who arrived via fire truck to the delight of a crowd of eager youngsters. Many who attended the event couldn’t help but admire as well beautiful window displays in storefronts along Gerrish and Water Streets.
