Police called about numerous thefts from cars

Police are reminding the public not to leave valuables in unlocked vehicles, even when they are parked on private property.
During the night of November 23, a number of personal items were stolen from several unlocked vehicles in the Ward Road area.
The Annapolis RCMP responded to a total of 84 calls for assistance during the week of November 19 through November 26. Included in these calls were four false alarms; one motor vehicle accident; seven false 911s; and three domestic matters.
Following are highlights of these calls:
-- November 19 at 00:26 a.m. Police received a report of a suspicious person in Lawrencetown.
-- November 19 at 7:55 a.m. Police received a complaint of threats uttered in Springfield.
-- November 19 at 10:31 a.m. Police received a complaint of littering in Middleton.
-- November 19 at 11:48 a.m. Police received a report of a break and enter in Nictaux.
-- November 19 at 3:05 p.m. Police received a report that people were smoking drugs in a parked vehicle. When police arrived in Granville Ferry, they were unable to locate the suspect vehicle.
-- November 19 at 5:30 p.m. Police received a complaint that a vehicle had been stolen from Wilmot.
-- November 19 at 6:34 p.m. Police were called to a motor vehicle accident in Middleton. One female was slightly injured when two vehicles collided.
-- November 19 at 6:42 p.m. Police received a report of a possible fraud after a Forest Glade resident received a suspicious phone call in reference to credit cards.
-- November 19 at 10:43 p.m. Police were called to Clementsport on a complaint of an assault. One person was charged with breech of probation; another individual was charged with assault and uttering threats.
-- November 19 at 11:59 p.m. Police received a complaint of theft from Lawrencetown.
-- November 20 at 2:45 p.m. Police discovered an impaired driver on Highway 101 near Centrelea. The driver was nearly three times over the legal limit.
-- November 20 at 7:27 p.m. Police received a complaint of a stolen bicycle from Lawrencetown.
-- November 20 at 10:34 p.m. Police received a complaint of an assault from Lawrencetown.
-- November 21 at 1:56 p.m. Police received a complaint of trespassing in Bridgetown.
-- November 21 at 2 p.m. A Cornwallis business reported a break and enter.
-- November 22 at 2:28 p.m. A Middleton business reported a complaint of theft under $5,000 after a quantity of fuel was stolen.
-- November 22 at 3 p.m. A Bridgetown resident reported a suspicious person.
-- November 22 at 9:18 p.m. A Middleton resident reported a noise disturbance.
-- November 23 at 12:36 p.m. Police received a report of an impaired driver in Middleton. The driver was located and found not to be impaired.
-- November 23 at 12:47 p.m. Police received a report that cattle were on the road in South Williamston.
-- November 23 at 11:03 P.M. Police received a report that a pedestrian was shot with a paintball by passengers in a passing vehicle.
-- November 23 at 11:53 p.m. A Middleton resident reported that youth were running around town and yelling. It was a youth event.
-- November 24 at 4:10 a.m. Police located an impaired driver in Middleton.
-- November 24 at 7:22 a.m. Police were called to assist the fire department and the department of transportation at a vehicle fire on the Highway 101 near Brickton.
-- November 24 at 7:49 a.m. Police received a report from Meadowvale that items had been stolen from a parked car during the night.
-- November 24 at 8:18 a.m. Police received a report from another Meadowvale resident that items had been stolen from a parked car during the night.
-- November 24 at 9:37 a.m. Police received a report from another Meadowvale resident that items had been stolen from a parked car during the night.
-- November 24 at 10:33 a.m. Police received a report from a Torbrook resident that items had been stolen from three parked cars during the night.
-- November 24 at 10:32 a.m. Police received a report from a Meadowvale resident that items had been stolen from a parked car during the night.
-- November 24 at 10:35 a.m. Police received a report from a South Farmington resident that items had been stolen from a parked car during the night.
-- November 24 at 11:04 a.m. Police received a report from East Torbrook that an ATV had been stolen during a break and enter during the night.
-- November 24 at 1:18 p.m. A West Dalhousie resident reported that a license plate had been stolen.
-- November 24 at 2:08 p.m. A Victoria Vale resident reported an attempted theft of an ATV.
-- November 24 at 4:34 p.m. A Meadowvale resident reported damage to a vehicle.
-- November 24 at 7:44 p.m. A Middleton resident reported a complaint of harassment.
-- November 25 at 8:32 a.m. Police recovered stolen property from New Albany.
-- November 25 at 10:36 a.m. A Wilmot resident reported mischief.
-- November 25 at 2:03 p.m. Police recovered stolen property in Middleton.
-- November 25 at 3:49 p.m. Police were called to assist during a medical emergency in Bridgetown.
-- November 26 at 10:40 a.m. A Brigetown business reported a theft.
-- November 26 at 11:33 a.m. A Nictaux resident reported a break and enter.
-- November 26 at 12:19 p.m. A Wilmot business reported a theft under $5,000.
