Comment online since November 23rd 2007I am sorry to hear about this terrible accident and the tragic loss of life that occurred. My sympathies go out to the families of those involved.
I was online the night that it happened when I bumped into a friend of mine who was present (RCMP). He was quite bothered by the whole thing, but sent me a link to the article.
I commend the media for reporting these stories and thank both the editor and photographer for providing images that tell the story without being overly graphic.
When faced with such tragedies we cannot close our eyes and be sad and deny that any good can come of this event. We should instead try (and I know it's hard) to celebrate the lives of those lost and take what lessons we can from the events that spawned our grief.
