Police arrest four in relation to Avon View High School damage
Arrests have been made one day after police were called in to investigate 25 smashed windows at Avon View High School. After an extensive investigation the Windsor District RCMP apprehended four youths and one adult in connection with the damage, which took place overnight Tues. Nov 6.
All four males are from the Windsor area and have been charged with once count each of Mischief over $5,000. Two of the suspects are students at the school and all four have been released on conditions. The three minors will appear in Windsor Court on Dec 7, while the adult male will appear on Dec. 4. Police are still calculating the cost of the damage with the Annapolis Valley School Board but say it is in excess of $5,000. Police say rocks were used to smash the windows
