It was a fairly quiet Halloween night in Annapolis County, with more treats passed out than tricks. Police officers, auxiliary members, Citizens on Patrol, and other community volunteers were out in full force, patrolling the streets throughout the evening.

While a few arrests were made in the towns of Annapolis Royal and Middleton, all those masked and loitering in the usual haunts were carrying treat bags, instead of loot.

The Annapolis detachment of the RCMP wishes to thank all the volunteers, and members of the local fire departments and municipal employees who remained on standby throughout the evening.
