There were 172 reports made to RCMP in Kings County between Nov. 1 and Nov. 5.

Two barns were broken into in Pereau Nov. 1. A chain saw and other tools were stolen

A quantity of potato chips was stolen from a self storage unit on the Morden Rd. in Auburn.

A woman was caught shoplifting a magazine in New Minas.

A car and truck collided on Commercial St. in New Minas at 12:46 a.m.

A driver on Highway 101 near Kingston collided with a deer.

A microwave was stolen out of a house on McGee Rd. in Kingston.

A Glenmont resident reported a fraudulent cheque for the sale of a vehicle over the internet.

Two youth were caught trying to break into the canteen near the school in Port Williams at 4:24 p.m.

A vehicle was tampered with on Charles St. in North Kentville.

A vehicle parked in Harmony had its back window smashed.

Some intimate photos were stolen out of a car parked in Wolfville.

Early Nov. 2, a young woman failed to pay a $4 cab fare on Skyway Dr. in Wolfville.

Two checks were conducted in Kingston, resulting in 22 warnings and one charge.

A female shoplifter was stopped in New Minas.

There was an attempted break-in to a house on Cedarwood Cres. in New Minas.

A mother and infant son were involved in a collision on Lockhart Mt. Rd. in Coldbrook. The infant’s car seat protected him from injury.

A residence on Fowler St. in Wolfville was broken into and two laptops, a camera and a phone were stolen.

A residence in Aylesford was broken into.

Early Nov. 3, there was a report from Acadia University security of a fight on Highland Ave. in Wolfville. Later, a 911 caller reported an unruly person disturbing the peace on Gaspereau Ave.

There were two reports of a fight outside the Top Hat lounge in Greenwood. One person was injured with a weapon.

An intoxicated man was passed out at the Old Orchard Inn in Greenwich at 2:28 a.m.

A front window at the Light and Lens Studio was smashed on Main St. in Wolfville.

Three vehicles at Evangeline Motors in Coldbrook were damaged.

There was a break-in on Gaspereau Ave. in Wolfville overnight.

A beleaguered Highland Ave. property owner in Wolfville reported another incident of damage to a new hedge.

Cows were reported on the road in Greenwood.

A vehicle flipped on Highway 101 near Cambridge.

Two vehicles hydroplaned on Prospect Rd. in Coldbrook and went off the road about 5:45 p.m.

A shed was broken into overnight on Minasview Dr. in Wolfville.

A Hillside Ave., Wolfville resident chased and caught someone breaking into a residence at 11:56 p.m.

November 4, high winds that blew through the Valley resulted in reports of downed trees and power lines in Wolfville, Lake Paul, Sheffield Mills, Bishopville, Steam Mill, Kingston, Aldershot, Waterville, Coldbrook, Hall’s Harbour, Port Williams, Blue Mountain, Gaspereau and White Rock.

A vehicle was damaged at a car dealership in Coldbrook.

A stereo was stolen out of a parked car on Front St. in Wolfville and a vehicle on Wolfville Ridge was keyed.

A sign was pushed over and profanity written on it in Coldbrook.

Someone tried to start a deck on fire at a business on Cmmercial St. in New Minas.

A small group of youth were throwing apples at a house in Kingston at 4:38 p.m.

A possible fight was reported on Central Ave. in Greenwood.

Wine and whiskey were stolen during a break-in to a cottage at Murphy Lake reported Nov. 5.

Three incidents of vandalism to construction on Terra Nova Dr. in Greenwood were reported.

More vandalism was reported at Evangeline Motors in Coldbrook.

A workshop was broken into in Kingston and a chain saw and gas jug stolen

Greenwood mall security reported voyeurism in a bathroom.

A 15-year-old youth was found shoplifting in New Minas.

A mail box was vandalized on the Forsythe Rd. in White Rock.

A car stereo was stolen out of an unlocked vehicle on Highland Ave. in Wolfville.

A Wolfville resident just home after surgery and hospitalization reported graffiti.

There were two mental health calls, one sudden death and five domestic incidents.

Due to the winds from post tropical storm Noel, there were 25 false commercial alarms, seven false residential alarms and 14 false 911 calls.
