Amazing Race, Amazing People

This past Saturday (Oct. 27) was the 3rd annual Great Amazing Pumpkin Race, a fundraiser put on by the Family Resource Centre of West Hants. I want to congratulate Mary Lou Bennett, her staff and all the volunteers who helped out. As always, it was well organized and we had a great time.

A lot of time and effort goes into making this happen and without the support of some of the local businesses and others that sponsor teams to take part, it just wouldn’t be as successful as it has become.

Also a big thank-you to Richard Cole and friends at Dooley’s for hosting the event again this year. Congrats to all winners and to everyone who took part.
