Fall auction

November 1 Annual Fall Auction at the Round Hill Hall at 7 p.m. Items include baked goods, books, vegetables, dishes, tools, furniture, appliances, etc. Proceeds for hall maintenance.

Jiggs Dinner

November 1 Enjoy a Jiggs Dinner at Holy Trinity Church Hall, Middleton, 4:45 to 6:15 p.m. Menu: Corned beef, cabbage, vegetables, all the fixings and apple crisp. Adults: $10; Under 12: $7. Sponsored by St. Joseph’s Men’s Club of the Parish of Wilmot.

Blood Glucose Clinic

November 1 A Blood Glucose clinic will be held at Hutchins Pharmasave in Annapolis Royal November 1 from 2 to 4 p.m.

Flu Shot Clinic

November 1 Flu Shot Clinic will be held November 1 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Bear River & Area Community Health Clinic. Call 467-3611 for more information.

Citrus Sale

November 1 Middleton Skating Club's Citrus Sale -- fresh Florida oranges and grapefruit -- preorder deadline is November 1. Quarter, half, or full cases available. Pickup date is November 24. Call Janice at 825-4770 or Anne at 825-6858.

Chinese Auction

November 1 Come to the Middleton Fireflies annual Chinese Auction at the Middleton Fire Hall from 2 to 8 p.m. Drawing starts at 8:05 p.m. Canteen opens at 4:30 p.m.

Bake Sale

November 2 Valley Animal Shelter Bake Sale at Valley Drug Mart, Middleton from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Some of the goodies will be homemade candy, pies, pastries, cookies, breads, preserves and more. For more info, call 765-6629.

Christmas Crafts

November 2 Nictaux Baptist Friendly Club’s Christmas Sale at the Greenwood Mall from 11 a.m, to 4 p.m. Featuring baking, crafts, knitting and sewing.

Tea & Auction

November 3 Christmas Tea & Chinese Auction at West Dalhousie Hall from 1-3 p.m., draw starting at 2 p.m. Adults $4; Children $2. Auction tickets are 10 for $1.

MRHS Dinner, Auction

Ecumenical Fall Fair

November 10 An Ecumenical Fall Fair will be held on Saturday, Nov. 10 at the Annapolis Fire Hall. Four denominations of churches will present crafts tables for hand made items, baked goods, produce, raffles, etc. Luncheon is $7 with chicken soup or chili and assorted desserts. Fair opens at 11 a.m. and luncheon at 11.30 a.m. Admission free but donation to the Food Bank is appreciated.

December 1 The 30th annual Annapolis Royal Farmers' & Traders' Christmas Craft Market will take place at the Legion Social Centre from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Over 70 vendors will inspire your Christmas spirit from handcrafted treasures to the unique. Canteen operated by the cadets. Door prizes. Admission. Outdoor tables are still available.
