Fools don't deserve more ink
Letter to The Advertiser
To the Editor:
I read with dismay Wendy Elliot’s article on rowdy behavior by some students at Acadia University.
I have nothing but sympathy for anyone having to contend with these infantile, indefensible and often illegal activities. However, these idiots represent only a tiny fraction of those attending the university.
The majority of Acadia students are charming, thoughtful and mature. Many give generously of their time and our community would be poorer without them.
Why not run a profile on the students who run the Acadia Dance Collective or enrich the lives of challenged children through the S.M.I.L.E. program? Surely these wonderful young people are more deserving of The Advertiser’s attention than a few fools who pee on bushes like feral dogs.
Sincerely
Heather Creamer
