Between Monday, Oct. 8, 2007 and Sunday, Oct. 14, 2007 Windsor District RCMP responded to 109 calls for service.
There were five false alarms and nine misdialed 911 calls. These numbers are down again, which is nice to see.
Police responded to four reports of damage to property and only three reports of theft. There were six reports of assault and four reports of uttering threats. Most of these complaints continue to be investigated.
There were four traffic-related crashes reported, five reports of impaired driving and a total of 18 traffic-related complaints.
Halloween will be upon us again soon. Windsor District RCMP would like to remind drivers to be extra careful again this year. As always, our streets and roads will be busy with little ghosts and goblins going door-to-door looking for that yummy treat.
For people walking, it's a good idea to carry a flashlight and wear reflective clothing.
Turning to the CrimeStoppers report, there is only one item this week. Sometime between Friday, Oct. 12, 2007 and Monday, Oct. 15, 2007 some tools were stolen from a business on Park Drive, located in the Windsor Industrial Park.
