Windsor District RCMP were kept busy between Monday, Sept. 17, 2007 and Sunday, Sept. 23, 2007 answering a total of 144 calls for service.

The amount of calls are up from the last reporting time and they include 14 false alarms, and eight misdialed 911 calls to name a few.

Police also responded to six complaints of assault, four of uttering threats and eight reports of disturbing the peace.

There were three reports of theft, three reports of theft of vehicles, nine reports of damage to property, two reports of fraud, and two reports of break and enter. Most of these incidents are currently under investigation.

Windsor District RCMP members also investigated three reports of impaired driving, five motor vehicle crashes, and 19 traffic-related complaints.

On the CrimeStopper side of things, Windsor District RCMP is investigating the following crimes:

Sometime between Feb. 1, 2007 and Aug. 4, 2007, someone stole a 1981 Jayco travel trailer from a residence in the Moosebrook area of Hants County.

Police are investigating an incident that occurred in the early morning hours of Aug.31, 2007 where a vehicle ran off the road in front of a residence on King Street in Windsor, leaving marks on the front lawn and almost striking the residence. The vehicle fled the scene and is described as a light coloured car, possibly a Chevrolet Cobalt.

Sometime between Sunday, Sept. 9, 2007 and Saturday, Sept. 15, 2007 someone stole a quantity of roughed milled lumber valued at approximately $5,000 from property located on a dirt road off Collier Road West in the Ardoise area of Hants County. This dirt road connects to the Dawson Road and Stillwater road.
