Effusive praise for firefighters

To the Editor:
I would like to count myself among the many, many people who are expressing their effusive praise for the firefighters who worked on the tragic fire in Windsor this past week.
Words are a poor expression of the gratitude and admiration I feel for the men and women who serve their community in this capacity. The fact the damage was contained to such a small area is a testament to their skill and dedication.
We can all rest a little easier knowing there are volunteers who will come to our rescue at a moment’s notice. From the depths of my soul, thank you.
