Roseway Hospital ER day-long closure planned

The Roseway Hospital, Shelburne Emergency Department will be closed from 8 a.m. Friday, Sept. 28 to 8 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 29.

The 24-hour closure is due to a lack of available doctors.

Shelburne County residents requiring emergency services should visit Yarmouth Regional Hospital Emergency Department (60 Vancouver Street, Yarmouth) or Queens General Hospital, Liverpool. If necessary call 911.

Emergency Departments under the South West Nova District Health Authority use a triage system that gives priority to emergency cases.
