“Whispers from the Past” cemetery tour brings stories of the dead to life

Despite the onslaught of mosquitoes, everyone in attendance seemed to enjoy the “Whispers from the Past” cemetery tour at the Lower Horton Cemetery on Sunday evening, Sept. 16. Local historian and author Maynard Stevens, president of the Kings Historical Society, hosted the tour and played Perry Borden Junior, one of seven individuals buried in the cemetery who had their stories told. Rebecca Crouse played Mary Brown, Heather Davidson played Agnus Allison, Ken Belfountain played Jonathon Crane, Allison Magee played Sherman Denison, Carmen Legge played James Harris and Ray Baltzer played William Allison.
