Volunteer Food Handlers Course (non certification)

A Volunteer Food Handlers Course (non certification) will be held 6-9 p.m. Oct. 24 at Liverpool Lions Club Hall. This three-hour course provides volunteers with information about how to safely handle, prepare and serve food. This is an excellent course for groups who put on meals as fundraisers. This course is free of charge. To register, contact the Recreation Department at 354-5741 by Oct. 15.
Queens Place Public Meeting

The Region of Queens Municipality will be holding a Public Meeting in respect to Queens Place Multi-purpose Centre 6:30 p.m. Sept. 11 in the Liverpool Regional High School Cafeteria. A more detailed report will be given by dmA Planning and Management Services on the capital costs for the components presented at the June 21 public meeting. In addition, a business/operational plan will be presented along with recommendations on the governance and management of Queens Place. Sept. 14 at RCL Branch 38, Liverpool, 9-1am. $3. Music by Dale Verge & Doin Country. Members & guests welcome.

Buffet Dessert & Auction

Sept. 14 at the Port Medway Fire Hall, 6-7:30pm desserts $5 & viewing of items. 7:30 Auction free. Also Silent Auction, Proceeds to the Port Medway Baptist Church Roofing Project.

TGIF Supper

Sept. 14 at RCL Branch 38, Liverpool, 5-7 pm. Turkey Burger, Potato Salad, Coleslaw, Dessert, Tea/Coffee. Everyone welcome. $5 p/p.

Brooklyn Baptist Church Bazaar.

Sept. 15th. 8 am - noon. Shore Road, Brooklyn. (rain or shine). Proceeds are for the church building fund. For more details or to donate preserves call 354-2229.
