There were 159 reports made to RCMP in Kings County during the full moon period Aug. 27-30.

A householder on Rosedale Ave. in north Kentville got up at 1 a.m. last Monday to let the cat out and spotted a prowler under a neighbour's deck.

Two callers from Golfview subdivision in New Minas reported mischief overnight, including upended stop signs and mailboxes destroyed. Someone broke into a Waterville warehouse overnight.

A Hall's Harbour resident reported the theft of a garbage can, then noted its contents had been emptied over a deck.

A householder on Commercial St. in New Minas reported a damaged fence at the rear of the property and finding a quantity of liquor bottles.

A Kingston driver received a warning after a minor collision on Main St. A wallet was turned in to the New Minas detachment.

A driver in Berwick allowed a child passenger to throw bottles out of a vehicle on Commercial St.

Ongoing issues with ATVs on Lincoln St. in Kingston were reported by two callers.

Club Static on Kentucky Crt. in New Minas was entered and copper wire stolen.

A babysitter in Berwick reported youth who knocked over a child at the park.

A garbage can had been set on fire at the New Minas Elementary School.

Suspicious activity in the vicinity of Valley Volkswagen was reported from Coldbrook at 6:15 p.m.

Speeding problems coming from sports fields in Canning was reported and a meeting to address the issue is planned. There was a dead dog on Highway 101 near Berwick.

A man repairing a vehicle after 11 p.m. was causing noise, but ceased when requested.

A residence was broken into on Lakewood Rd. in Lakeville. Early last Tuesday morning, youth causing noise in a travel trailer was a problem in Pereau.

There was a loud party on Maple St. in Aylesford at 12:33 p.m. Two reports came in of underage drinking near the Wandlyn Inn in Coldbrook.

A collision occurred in Kingston at 6:17 a.m. at Main and Bridge. A chainsaw was stolen from a truck in Auburn.

An individual reported for burning stumps near Harbourville had a permit.

Two youth were bullying a child on Prospect Rd. in New Minas at lunch-time. A 13-year-old boy tried to steal sneakers at Wal-Mart in New Minas.

Police checked on a dog locked in a car in Greenwood and found it was not in distress.

A strange car was parked in a driveway in Woodville all day with the keys in it.

Three youth tore down paper ‘no smoking signs’ near the Legion in Berwick.

A case of elder abuse was reported from north Kentville involving money and the theft of furniture.

A minor collision took place in New Minas. A drunk couple was fighting on the carnival grounds in Berwick.

A residence in Canning was broken into and electronic equipment stolen. A 911 caller reported mischief in Pereau. Threats of bodily harm were made in Kingston at 7:43 p.m.

The church bell at the Centreville Baptist Church was taken overnight. This is the eighth incident of property damage at the church since November.

A brick was thrown through a window at the school in Avonport. Two shoplifters were reported at Zellers in Greenwood.

A collision occurred on Maple St. in Waterville at 12:09 p.m. The driver of a Mercedes-Benz hit a car in the Wal-Mart lot in New Minas and didn’t stop.

A collision took place near Valley Regional Hospital in Kentville. A youth who is banned was trespassing at the mall in New Minas. Speeding was reported from Aalders Ave. in New Minas.

Pry marks were noted on the professional centre on Kentucky Crt. in New Minas.

Traffic was impeded while loose hay on the road in Centreville was cleaned up.

A neighborhood dispute ended with an assault in Cambridge at 4:32 p.m.

Tools were stolen out of an unlocked shed on the Ward Rd. in Kingston.

A vehicle caught fire and burned near Aylesford Lake. A window was broken on a residence in Baxter's Harbour.

Children not wearing helmets while riding bikes were reported on Ward Rd. in Greenwood.

A neighbourhood dispute resulted in two calls to police. Two reports were also received of cars tearing out of various driveways.

A gas-powered scooter was stolen in Aylesford early last Thursday morning. There was a loud party on Nosco Crt.. in north Kentville.

An impaired driver was arrested after going through a stop sign in Hants Border.

There was one attempted suicide, a sudden death and six mental health calls. At 6:33 a.m. a caller reported her daughter and a friend were rocking her trailer all night long.

There were 12 domestic incidents, including three various teens who were out of control.

There were six false commercial alarms, three false residential alarms, two false school alarms and 11 false 911 calls, including one from an eight-year-old jokester.
