Entertainment & BBQ

Queens Learning Network

Hospital Hustle

Sept. 8 at Liverpool Arena. Doors open at 10am to 3pm. Adults $1, children .50. Something for everyone. Items may be dropped off at the arena on Friday, 7 from 2:30 – 8:30pm. Please come and support your Hospital.

South Shore Naturalists Meeting

RECREATION REPORT

Queens Place public meeting

The Region of Queens Municipality will be holding a Public Meeting with respect to Queens Place Multi-purpose Centre 6:30 p.m. Sept. 11 in the Liverpool Regional High School Cafeteria. A more detailed report will be given by dmA Planning and Management Services on the capital costs for the components presented at the June 21 public meeting. In addition, a business/operational plan will be presented along with recommendations on the governance and management of Queens Place. For more details please visit the Region of Queens Municipality's website at www.regionofqueens.com.

Ukulele for beginners

Ukulele is for everyone who loves music and no musical experience is required.

The ukulele is such a versatile instrument; it can be played and enjoyed by both beginner and virtuoso. This course teaches basic chord strumming techniques and basic music reading skills.

Have loads of fun while learning to play some of your favourite songs. Bring your own ukulele or purchase one from the instructor at wholesale prices.
