There were minor injuries in a collision in Aylesford.

An excavator was vandalized at a pit near Casey’s Corner.

Copper plumbing materials were stolen from a garage on Maple St. in Kingston.

An elderly driver was driving dangerously on a four-wheeler in Hortonville.

Underage youth were drinking on Brooklyn St. in North Kentville at 4:23 p.m.

There was a collision involving a bike and a car on the White Rock Rd.

Security staff chased someone who tried to steal a dirt bike out of the Canadian Tire store in New Minas. The bike was abandoned and the chase went

as far as Wal-Mart.

At 7:25 p.m., six youth were observed drinking a quart of whiskey on Oakdene Ave. in North Kentville.

A gumball machine was found without any gumballs on Main St. in Kingston. The money was still inside.

An unwanted female guest was reported in Cambridge.

A single vehicle collision took place in Sheffield Mills.

Youth were reported on top of the Empire Cinemas at 11:12 p.m.

Early August 16, an alleged home invasion was reported from the North Mountain. The caller seemed pleased by all the pretty police cars that attended.

A ride-on mower was stolen from Gaspereau River Rd. The key had been left in it.

There were 10 domestic calls, including two brothers arguing. One man was arrested for assault.

There were four mental health incidents, including a caller bemoaning bad cider. There were sudden deaths in Wolfville and Lower Canard.

There were 12 false business alarms, three false residential alarms and nine false 911 calls.

There were 136 reports made to RCMP in Kings County between Aug. 16 and Aug. 20.

A storage building on Randolph Rd. in Cambridge was broken into and a number of used windows taken lAugust 16.

A mail carrier in New Minas complained to police about drivers not stopping for pedestrians in crosswalks on Commercial St.

A rock broke a window in the Church of the Nazarene on Tremont Mt. Rd.

There was a collision on Highway 101 near Aylesford.

Four kids were throwing apples and rocks at a home on Gaspereau Ave. in Wolfville at 6:54 p.m.

Loud music was reported from an apartment on Skyway Dr. in Wolfville at 10:56 p.m.

A possible fight was reported after 20 to 30 people gathered outside a tavern on Harbourside Dr. in Wolfville at 11:30 p.m. One drunken male was arrested and lodged in a cell after being belligerent.

A box of tools stored overnight in a locked truck was reported stolen August 17 from the Slumber Inn in New Minas.

A Centreville resident reported the seat belt in a guest’s vehicle was cut overnight.

Windows at a bunkhouse on a farm in Pereau were broken.

An on-going problem with loud music at Medford Beach was reported at 3 p.m.

A vehicle was scratched on Blomidon Terrace in Wolfville.

A vehicle drove into a cornfield on Wolfville Ridge about 11 p.m.

There was a loud party on Highland Ave. in Wolfville, with about 25 people on hand.

Two males in a white half-ton truck stole an old sink filled with flowers off a front lawn in Aldershot just after 11 p.m.

Loud music was reported from a house in Harbourside Dr. in Wolfville at midnight Aug. 18.

At 1:33 a.m., an Acadia St. resident reported five young adults damaging a fence.

A Maple St., Waterville resident came home August 18 and found a smashed living room window.

A sign was vandalized at the Church of Christ on Middle Dyke Rd. A fish symbol with legs was added, along with the name ‘Darwin.’

Two boys, aged eight or nine, were throwing rocks at cars on Commercial St. in New Minas at 8 p.m.

Loud music was reported from Tufts Ave. in Greenwood early August 19.

There was a single vehicle collision on Tory Lane in Greenwood.

A red 1998 Jeep was reported stolen from Greenwood at 2:18 a.m., then the caller phoned back to say a roommate had borrowed it.

Five customers were harassing staff and other customers at a fast food outlet in Coldbrook at 2:29 a.m. They were gone when police arrived.

A three-foot lighthouse was stolen from a front lawn in Windermere.

A car backed into a motorcycle, causing a collision in Greenwood. The cyclist had his arm broken.

Part of a new boat motor, worth $4,000, was stolen from the Centreville area.

A purse was stolen out of an unlocked vehicle on Kent Ave. in Wolfville.

A New Minas caller reported her Toyota stolen from a parking lot, but she had the keys in her hand. Turns out she had misplaced her vehicle and observed a similar car drive off.

A 30 HP motor was stolen from a vessel moored at Scott’s Bay.

A drunk was arrested at a street party on Winter St. in Wolfville.

At 12:53 a.m., a Wolfville resident phoned police about the noise generated by three tractor trailers parked and running at the Acadia Arena parking lot.

A Governor Crt. resident of North Kentville reported someone rattling a doorknob.

There were three mental health complaints. There were nine domestic incidents, including a 14-year-old boy who assaulted his nine-year-old sister and an ex-boyfriend offering money for sex. There were 12 false business alarms, two false residential alarms and nine false 911 calls, including one from the “boogey man.”
