Mayor for a Day
Kentville Mayor Dave Corkum presented Rhianna Nicholson of Kentville with this framed scroll Thursday afternoon, Aug. 16 in recognition of her winning the recent “Mayor of Kentville for a Day” essay contest. Nicholson, who wrote the essay earlier this year as a Grade 8 student attending KCA, received a number of gifts, tours and privileges as a result of winning the contest and even chaired the July regular monthly town council session.
