Fun-filled ceilidh kitchen party
Organizers of the Second International Ukulele Ceilidh invite everyone to a Kitchen Party 4 p.m. Aug. 19 at The Mersey House, 149 Main Street in Liverpool.
This is the second kitchen party held as a prelude to the four-day international ceilidh in October. It follows a highly successful and popular similar gathering held in late spring. At that time, most party-goers had such a good time they expressed the wish for another one later in the year.

While admission is free, the kitchen party is also a fundraiser for the ceilidh. In addition to the music – and there will plenty of that – there will be a silent auction, a 50/50 draw, and raffle tickets on sale.

Those attending can also purchase food and drink.

Mike Conway, The South Shore Ukulele Players, and other performers to be announced shortly will provide music. As in the past, all musical instruments are welcome and everyone is invited to join in the fun.

The Second International Ukulele Ceilidh will be held October 25th to 28th in Liverpool, Nova Scotia.
