Windsor Court Report
Fined for impaired driving
The court has fined a Rawdon resident for driving while impaired last spring.
Judge J.A. MacLellan found Annette MacPhee, 36, guilty in Windsor provincial court Tuesday, Aug. 7 of impaired driving under the Criminal Code of Canada.
The judge found her not guilty of a related charge.
Judge MacLellan fined MacPhee $600 or nine days in custody on willful default.
He also prohibited MacPhee from driving in Canada for a year, a ban the Nova Scotia Registry of Motor Vehicles will at least match.
MacPhee committed the offense at Rawdon Gold Mines March 10.
Breached probation
Judge MacLellan fined Bishopville resident Brian Van Noel Miner, 46, $100 plus a $15 victim surcharge for failing to comply with a probation order.
Miner committed the breach in Hantsport Jan. 1 when he failed to comply with an order to stay away form the residence of a specific person.
He pleaded guilty to the charge June 19.
