There were 151 reports made to RCMP in Kings County between Aug. 6 and Aug. 9.

There were two reports last Monday of a male prowler in north Kentville. He was spotted staring in a patio door at 3:35 a.m.

Eight solar lights were stolen from Waterville overnight. A golden retriever was found in Berwick.

Police assisted EHS after a 911 call about a diabetic in New Minas at 9:39 a.m.

A Kingsport caller complained about ATVs on the road at 10 a.m. A home on Lawrence Rd. in Berwick was broken into and ransacked.

A driver backed out into another vehicle on Hillside Ave. in Wolfville and there was a very minor collision in Coldbrook.

An Aldershot Rd. landlord moved a tenant’s belongings out onto the street. A rock was thrown through a windshield overnight on Black Rock Rd.

Police are investigating what might be an internal theft at a New Minas business.

Four counterfeit $5 bills were discovered in Ross Creek. A driver in Berwick reported an incident of road rage.

A tent and equipment were found in woods near Waterville. Two boys were found starting a fire in a field in Auburn.

A two-door red Honda was driving fast up and down the Al Bennett Rd. in Hall’s Harbour.

Kentville firefighters requested assistance because of a stove fire in Steam Mill. No one was home at the time. Two adults were caught shoplifting in New Minas.

The occupant of a black Chrysler was throwing things on Bridge St. in Kingston at 7:44 p.m.

Checkpoints were set up in Coldbrook and Steam Mill. One 24-hour suspension was handed out.

At 10:29 p.m. a drunk who had passed out was delivered by a taxi driver to the New Minas detachment. He was placed in a cell.

A drunk tried to jump over the counter at the Subway outlet in Berwick. A dirt bike was found in woods near Aylesford Lake.

At 5:54 a.m. last Tuesday a Welton Landing resident was disturbed by someone yelling from nearby woods.

A bike was found in a ditch in Berwick and police in Berwick mediated a heated argument between a young couple.

Gas was siphoned out of a van in Pereau overnight Tuesday. A vehicle parked in Cambridge had some windows smashed overnight.

The Paragon Golf Course in Kingston reported mischief on a nightly basis from youth who had been warned already to stay away. A collision occurred in Berwick at 2:13 p.m.

A wooden boat, fishing rod, life jacket and motor were found near the historic site in Hortonville.

A grandmother reported her daughter would not return a family photo album.

Two reports of suspicious men watching children came in from Coldbrook. Two aluminum rowboats were stolen out of a locked barn at Sunken Lake.

A chainsaw and brush-cutter were stolen out of an unlocked shed in Grafton.

Four solar lights were taken from a front lawn on Exhibition St. in north Kentville.

The gate to a private road was damaged on Highbury Rd. in New Minas and garbage dumped.

An impaired driver was arrested after an assault was reported from Dooley’s in Greenwood.

A wallet was found on school grounds in Kingston and returned to its owner. A truck made of composite stolen parts was reported in South Alton.

There was a collision in Port Williams and, at 4:30 p.m., one at Middle Dyke Road and Church St.

A theft was noted at the Movie Gallery in New Minas. Two lawn chairs were stolen from Maple St. in Waterville.

There were several reports of harassing phone calls. A large bag was found in a ditch on Lakewood Rd. in Lakeville.

Thirty marijuana plants were found off Highway 12. A checkpoint occurred in Auburn early last Wednesday morning.

A prowler was spotted in South Alton at 1:23 a.m. A drunk was talking suicide at a campground in Grafton at 4:58 a.m.

Overnight tools were stolen out of a work vehicle parked in Coldbrook.

Two New Minas girls, aged 12 and 13, were reported missing Wednesday morning and were located a day later. Later, another girl was reported missing temporarily as was an elderly woman in Rockland.

A kennel on Gaspereau Mtn. reported two dogs left since July 18.

A pregnant woman forgot to pay for gas in Kingston. When contacted she apologized and paid up. A car was stolen from Coldbrook that had been stored for several months.

Youth on an ATV and a dirt bike were on the roads in the Canning area.

Two minor collisions occurred in New Minas. One woman passed out due to shock after being rear-ended.

An Aylesford resident reported a child for picking flowers next door. Suspicious clothing was found in north Kentville. A power pole was on fire in Lake Paul at 7 p.m.

Three males were arrested after an incident on Maple St. in Waterville at 11:51 p.m. One was charged with breaching probation.

Checkpoints took place in Aylesford and Greenwood and three warnings were issued.

A fight was in progress at 1:10 on Brooklyn St. in north Kentville. It was two roommates who had been into the liquor.

Two males were arrested in New Minas at 1:24 a.m. and drugs were found in their vehicle. A stolen Volvo in Auburn turned out to have been repossessed.

Two copper pots, each weighing over 250 pounds, were reported stolen overnight on Belcher St., Port Williams.

A drunken female was arrested in Greenwood for breach of probation.

A mattress was turned in after it was found on Highway 101 near Kingston. If not claimed, the man who found it wants it. Berwick RCMP were requested to conduct two funeral escorts.

There was a sudden death reported involving an elderly person and five mental health calls. One involved a youth with a knife and the other resulted in an arrest under new provisions.

There were four domestic incidents, including an assault in a vehicle in the Wal-Mart parking lot in New Minas.

There were five false business alarms, two false residential alarms, four false school alarms, one vehicle alarm and six false 911 calls. One 911 caller simply asked if Sparky was there.
