Festive fun at Windsor's annual Sam Slick Days!

Staff at The Hants Journal was kept on their toes during Sam Slick Days last weekend. On Friday, Aug. 3, Gerrish St. was closed to traffic for the annual Street Fair. There was music, food and games for young and old, and even a little dancing. Saturday saw a Family Fun Day on the waterfront along with the Sam Slick Children’s and Grand St. Parade. There were numerous other events during the weekend including a Cow Patty bingo, Turner car show, Festival of Art, Mayor’s Tea at Haliburton House and tons of great music at the Coach House, to name a few. The grand finale was a star-struck fireworks display.
