There were 95 reports made to the RCMP in Kings County between July 31 and Aug. 2.

Property damage was reported in Port Williams at 8:17 a.m. July 31 when a mailbox was smashed.

There was a truck reported to be driving dangerously on Highway 101 near the Coldbrook exit at 8:33 a.m.

At 8:53 in New Minas there was damage to a vehicle as the result of some mischief on Maple Drive.

There was a complaint of assault at 10:04 a.m. in Waterville. There was a minor motor vehicle accident on Lovett Rd. in Coldbrook reported at 10:28 a.m.

A caller on Bennett’s Bay Rd. reported an injured bald eagle on the highway at 10:29 a.m.

In north Kentville, a purse was reported stolen from a vehicle on Sanford Rd. at 11:40 a.m.. More issues arose on Maple Dr. when a bicycle was reported stolen at 12:46 p.m.

There were harassing phone calls reported on Cambridge Mountain Rd. at 1:05 p.m.

A caller reported an assault on Milne Ave. in New Minas at 1:28 p.m. There was a motor vehicle accident on Main St. in Canning reported at 1:48 p.m. A vehicle hit a deer at 1:52 p.m. on Highway 101 near Berwick.

There was a break and enter on Lemont Rd. in Lakeville. A driver caused a complaint on Highway 1 in Greenwich at 2:51 p.m.

Another complaint occurred approximately 40 minutes later concerning a driver on the Marshall Rd. exit from the 101.

Theft from an automobile was reported on Marina Dr. in New Minas at 4:45 p.m.

Also in New Minas, there was a two-vehicle accident on Commercial St. at 5 p.m. There was a driving complaint at 5:04 p.m. on Bridge St. in Kingston.

A motor vehicle accident occurred on Belcher St. in north Kentville. There were no injuries.

A suspicious person was reported in north Kentville at 5:49 p.m. The person was then located, found under the influence, and taken into custody.

A caller reported a suspicious vehicle on Forest Hill Rd. in north Kentville at 6:42 p.m.

A speeding vehicle was reported on Aylesford Rd. at 7:42 p.m. Half an hour later in north Kentville, a family dispute was reported.

At 8:39 p.m. in Waterville 911 was called for assistance in a medical emergency.

911 was also called at 9:01 from Avonport for assistance with a theft. There was a driving complaint at 10:02 p.m. in north Berwick.

Police were called to report a man walking drunk along Commercial St. in New Minas.

Suspicious people were reported on Exhibition St. in north Kentville at 10:50 p.m.

A person called police from Waterville reporting found property at 11:10 p.m.

Arson was reported on South Bishop Rd. in Coldbrook early last Wednesday morning. Two males are currently facing charges in court.

An impaired driver was reported at 1:48 a.m. on Highway 1 in Kingston. 911 was called for a New Minas medical emergency at 3:08 a.m.

Auto theft occurred on Mountain View Rd. in Coldbrook at 7:13 a.m. The vehicle was recovered and two males were charged.

Police were called after several vehicles were damaged on Commercial St. in New Minas. Someone placed a driving complaint at 8:48 a.m. on Park St. in Aylesford.

A lawn tractor was reported stolen on Highway 1 in Greenwich at 9:31 a.m. A break and enter was reported at 9:46 a.m. concerning a Greenwich business.

A small antique sewing machine was reported stolen from a museum on Main St. in Wolfville.

Four wheelcovers found in the Zeller’s parking lot were reported to the New Minas RCMP detachment at 11:46 a.m. 911 was called at 12:39 p.m. for assistance with medical issues on Highbury Rd. in New Minas.

Criminal harassment was reported on Commercial St., New Minas at 1:31 p.m. The police were called for assistance in North Alton at 2:17 p.m.

In Coldbrook, police received reports that an individual was in violation of the Controlled Drug and Substances Act at 2:36 p.m.

There was a minor two-vehicle accident on Prospect St. in Wolfville at 2:51 p.m. At 3:30 p.m., erratic driving was reported on the 101 near Berwick.

An hour later a similar complaint was filed concerning an erratic driver near exit 11.

There was a two-vehicle accident on Commercial St. in Kentville. There were no injuries.

There was a family disturbance and breach of court order in Waterville at 4:31 p.m.

A traffic check on Highway 1 in Auburn resulted in several motor vehicle tickets.

Stolen property from a vehicle was reported on Annette St. in Coldbrook at 5:56 p.m. Some of the property has since been recovered.

An erratic driver was reported to be driving on Bishop Mountain Rd. in Kingston at 6:55 p.m. There was assault reported on Highway 1 in Greenwich at 7:41 p.m.

In Coldbrook a man was arrested after breach of undertaking. In confrontation, the man assaulted a police officer, which resulted in him needing medical attention.

There was property damaged sustained in Morristown at 7:45 p.m. Dangerous driving was reported on Meghan Dr. in Coldbrook at 10:02 p.m.

Police called business owners at 10:19 p.m. when they noticed insecure premises in Village Park, Coldbrook.

There was a noise complaint in Grand-Pré at 11:23 p.m. The source of the noise was found to be a wedding.

Obscene phone calls were reported in Waterville at 11:52 a.m. Mischief was reported in Waterville at 12:02 Thursday morning. A Centreville business off Route 359 was damaged at 1:06 a.m.

There was a motor vehicle accident in Cambridge. No one was injured. There was a noise complaint in North Alton on Highway 12. A dog was barking incessantly at 2:19 a.m.

At 3:04 a.m. police were called to report horses walking single file down the middle of the main road into Canning. Upon arrival, police ensured the horses were walking on the correct side of the street.

A barbecue was reported stolen from Maple St. in Waterville at 7:18 a.m. Police were called at 8:59 for assistance. Someone had received another person’s mail in their mailbox.

There were three domestic incidents during this time period as well as four false commercial alarms and five false residential alarms. There were five false 911 calls.
