Port George Country Jamboree
July 28 Huge Flea Market and pancake breakfast starting at 7am. . Eleven hours of live country music from 9am-8pm. Enjoy good food and great music all day. Bounce Kingdom, Kiddies Train, Duck Pond and free face painting for the children. Anniversary Cake at 1pm. Ham, bean, potato scallop supper 4-6pm. New this year are Scallop Burgers.

Dramatic reading
July 28 Hal Theriault will hold a Dramatic Reading of his new play The Bear River Story, Saturday, July 28 at 7:30 p.m. at the Oakdene Centre, Bear River. The play tells "the story of those who came, liked it and settled in, a trend which has continued for over 200 years." Full production will take place in August. Blood pressure clinic
July 26 The Annapolis Royal Pharmasave will hold a blood pressure and machine check clinic July 26 from 2 to 4 p.m.
Art show and sale
July 28 An Art Show and Sale will be held at the Tupperville Community Hall Saturday, July 28 from 1 to 5 p.m. Admission free. Refreshments to be provided for $2 each by the Tupperville Women's Institute who are sponsoring this show which features original work by some 15 artists, photographers and crafts persons.
Chinese Auction
July 29 Chinese Auction at the Multi Addiction Center in North Kingston. Doors open at 11 a.m. with draw at 1 p.m. sharp. 50/50 and canteen available. Proceeds for the center.
Church Anniversary
July 29 Victoria Vale Baptist Church’s 100th Anniversary Celebrations. Regular service at 11:00 a.m., guest speaker is Dr. Harry Gardiner, music provided by Graham Morehead and Friends. At noon, bring a picnic basket, chair and lawn game for potluck picnic. Gospel music from 1:15 to 4:30 p.m., performances by Graham Morehead and Friends, Country Generations, Matt Lunn and Friends, The Crouchmans’s, Joyce, Lowna & Janet Trio, and The White Family. Hymn Sing at 7:00 p.m., music by Dr. Harry Gardiner and the Church Choir. Everyone welcome.

July 31 Join archivist Ern Dick for an informal Oral History Evening to recall Annapolis Royal Natal Days over the past 60 years. If you have memories of long past or recent Natal Day celebrations, we'd love to hear your stories and see your memorabilia. August 3 Natal Day celebrations at the Annapolis Royal Legion Community Centre kick off with the Karaoke finals, beginning at 9 pm (registration is at 8). Come out and enjoy some top-notch singing and be a part of the excitement as the winner is announced.
Natal Day breakfast
August 4 The Annapolis Royal Legion’s Natal Day festivities continue with breakfast in the small dining room from 9 am to noon. Then beginning at noon the kids are invited to a puppet and magic show. Admission to the show is $2 and includes a free hot dog and pop.

Natal Day activities
August 5 Natal Day celebrations at the Annapolis Royal Legion Community Centre will be in full swing with a Full Breakfast (including pancakes) from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. A horseshoe tournament will begin at 10 a.m. (registration at 9:30), at a cost of $5 per person. A lunchtime barbecue will begin at 1 p.m., with Natal Day Bingo beginning at 2 p.m. (merchandise prizes). Finally, at 8 p.m. a Jam Session will finish off the day.

August 6 On Natal Day Monday the Annapolis Royal Legion Community Centre is the location for a huge Children’s Birthday Party from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., while this will be the final day for the Legion 50/50 draw, which will be held in the late afternoon.

August 7 Come to the Hampton Hall for a Brunch Lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Sharon Elliott will do a RCMP presentation followed by a question period. Sandwiches, muffins, cookies, etc will be appreciated.
