There were 123 reports made to the RCMP in Kings County between July 9 and July 12.
Two males attempted to steal $20 worth of hot dogs from a grocery store on Highway 1 in Coldbrook at 9:42 a.m. July 9. Police have the suspects caught on surveillance camera.
There was a two-vehicle accident on Mee Rd. in north Kentville at 10:05 a.m. No injuries were reported.
Mischief was reported on Gaspereau River Rd. in Wallbrook when spraypaint was used to communicate threatening messages.
Police were alerted that a drunken male was staggering on a road in Canning at 1:38 p.m. The caller feared the man might get hit.
There was a two-car accident on Highway 1 in Waterville at 4 p.m. There were minor injuries, but the occupants refused an ambulance.
Home heating oil was reported stolen from a home on Randolph Rd. in Cambridge at 5:48 p.m.
A man was arrested for public intoxication on Bains Rd. in Canning at 11:37 p.m. The man was laying on the side of the road with his bicycle and open liquor.
An alarm was triggered at 11:41 p.m. on Brook St. in Somerset when the front windows of a home was smashed. No entry was gained, but police arrested a male suspect.
There was a propane tank stolen from a barbecue on Highland Ave. in Wolfville at 4:57 a.m. last Tuesday morning.
Also in Wolfville, an unlocked vehicle was opened on Sherwood Dr. and three booklets of stamps stolen from the middle console.
A driver left a gas station on Aldershot Rd. in north Kentville without paying for his gas at 12:44 p.m. The man later returned to the gas station and paid for the $10 worth of fuel.
A woman called police at 1:30 p.m. from Blomidon Beach Park fearing she may have found human bones washed up on the beach. The bones turned out to be those of a deer.
There was a two-vehicle accident at 3 p.m. on Commercial St., New Minas.
Mischief was reported on Belcher St. in Kentville at 3:44 p.m. The perpetrators had rearranged the letters on the Community College sign to spell profanities.
There was a two-vehicle accident on Commercial St., New Minas at 4:19 p.m. One person was injured.
Police were notified of an unlicensed driver operating a vehicle in Centreville at 5:26 p.m. The driver was an elderly male suffering from Alzheimer’s disease.
A call was made to police to report profane promotional posters posted on Highway 1 in Coldbrook at 10:13 p.m.
A dumpster was reported on fire behind a New Minas car dealership at 10:46 p.m.
There was a fire in an abandoned house early last Wednesday morning on Spencer Rd. in Kentville. Witnesses heard a loud bang followed immediately by flames.
There was an ATV reported stolen from Palmer Rd. in Harmony at 8:31 a.m.
A chainsaw was reported stolen from an unlocked shed on Prospect Rd. in New Minas at 9:49 a.m.
Someone was causing mischief at the golf course on Brookside Dr. in Kingston.
There was a rearview video system stolen from a vehicle on Highway 1 at 10:39 a.m.
Several young males were reported to be throwing glass bottles off the overpass on Victoria Rd. in Aylesford at 10:50 a.m. Also in Aylesford, a cottage was reported broken into on Granite Private Rd. at 11:17 a.m. A chainsaw and tape recorder were stolen.
Credit card fraud was reported in Port Williams at 1:38 p.m. when someone tried to buy an expensive computer.
There was a two-vehicle accident on Main St., Berwick at 2:08 p.m. There was a one-vehicle accident on Melanson Rd. in Melanson when a female driver ran into a parked trailer.
Another single vehicle accident was reported on Highway 101 eastbound near Avonport at 2:59 p.m. A deer ran out of the ditch and hit the passenger door.
A break and enter was reported at 3:57 p.m. from Loon Lake. A cottage was broken into and liquor was stolen from the refrigerator.
At 5:18 p.m. a single-vehicle accident occurred in Welsford.
There was mischief reported early Thursday morning on Commercial St., New Minas when civic signs were vandalized. Three males in a gray Honda accord were witnessed yelling at the scene.
Also on Commercial St., New Minas, there was a two-vehicle accident reported at 7:40 a.m. There were no injuries.
There were two domestic incidents during this time period as well as five false commercial alarms and two false residential alarms. There were five mental health calls and eight false 911 calls.
