Friday Night Fever Dance

June 8 at RCL Br.38, Liverpool (9pm-1am) Music: Wayne Snyder & Ramblin’ Fever. $3/person. Members & guests.

9th Annual Kiwanis Kite Festival

June 9 at Summerville Beach (11am-1pm) Raindate: June 10. Prizes. Adm: $2 ($5/family) Kites, hot dogs, pop available.

Country Music Impersonators

June 9 at Bridgewater Legion (7pm) $6 at door. Special appearance: Rita McNeil. Canteen. Door prizes. Bake auction.

Buffet Luncheon

June 9 at Maitland Bridge Hall (11am-1:30pm) Potato salad, baked beans, variety of salads & casseroles, sweet&sour meatballs, chili, etc. Desserts. Proceeds: completion of emergency comfort centre at hall.

Chicken BBQ - North Brookfield Baptist Pastorate

June 9 at North Brookfield Community Hall (4:30-6:30pm) Bbq chicken, salads, baked potatoes, rolls, strawberry shortcake. Proceeds: church.

Country & Old Time Music Show

June 10 at Forties Comm. Hall, near New Ross (2pm, door opens 12:45) $6, 16&under $4. Great live music. Canteen. Door prizes.

Hot Turkey Supper

June 10 at West Queens Community Hall, River Head Rd, Port Mouton (4-7pm) Strawberry shortcake dessert. $9, child $5. Everyone welcome.
