RHUBARB FESTIVAL

May 29

There will be a rhubarb festival at LeVillage acadien in West Pubnico on Tuesday, May 29, from 1:30-3, featuring a variety of rhubarb dishes, tea or coffee and local entertainment. $5.

The regular monthly meeting of the East Pubnico Fire Department will be held at their hall on May 30 at 7:30.

DINNER THEATRE

The Yarmouth Consolidated Memorial High School’s student council will be hosting a dinner theatre “Learning to Flirt” Thursday, May 31 at 6:30. Tickets will be on sale at the high school and at City Drug starting Monday, May 14 for $10.

CAT WELCOME

The Friends of the Yarmouth Light invites the public to join them at the Yarmouth lighthouse in welcoming the Cat ferry as it arrives on Friday afternoon, June 1. Cake and the sounding of the fog horn.

GARDENING CONVENTION

The Nova Scotia Association of Garden Clubs is holding its annual convention on June 1-2, at the Rodd Grand Hotel in Yarmouth. The public is invited to attend the two-day event which includes a plant sale on Friday evening, workshops, vendors of
