Depression support group
May 17 The Canadian Mental Health Association is inviting anyone interested in joining a depression support group to attend a meeting in Bridgetown at the CMHA office May 17 at 1 p.m. For information call 526-2456 or 665-4801.
VON Lunch Bunch - Ann. Royal

Corn chowder supper
May 19 A corn chowder supper will be held at Inglisville Community Hall from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. May 19. Enjoy a meal with corn chowder or hamburger soup, roll, tea/coffee and dessert for $5. Basket draw.
Yard sale
May 19 A yard sale will be held at the Christian Fellowship Center at Highway 1 and Dodge Road North for the Wilmot Baptist Church from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. BBQ hot dogs and canteen services. Proceeds for church projects. Rain date May 26.

Victorian Cream Tea

May 19 A giant yard sale will be held at the Bridgetown Baptist Church May 19. Rain or shine. Baking, plants, toys, books, puzzles, dishes, linens, curtains, household furniture. Refreshments available. Proceeds for church purposes.
Indoor yard sale, baked beans
May 19 An indoor yard sale aand baked bean lunch will be held at the Christian Family Centre, Nictaux May 19 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Proceeds for campers at Kingswood Camp.
WI Plant Sale
May 19 The Spa Springs Women’s Institute Annual Plant Sale and Coffee Party will be held May 19 from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at Parker Hall, Victoria Vale. Plant and white elephant tables. Enjoy tea, coffee. Freewill offering.
Tea and bake sale
May 19 A tea and bake sale will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Port Royal Hall May 19, sponsored by the Lower Granville United Baptist churches. Proceeds for parsonage roof repairs.

May 19 The Wilmot Garden Club will hold its annual plant sale on Saturday, May 19 from 8 a.m. to 12 noon at the corner of Highway1 and Stronach Mountain Road, Wilmot. Lots of annuals, perennials, and shrubs etc.
Potluck supper
May 19 A Potluck supper will be held at Port Lorne Fire Hall May 19 from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Freewill offering. Variety of pies for dessert. Proceeds for the Port Lorne Ladies’ Auxiliary Dishwasher Fund.

Women’s Expo
May 25 & 26 The second annual Women’s Expo is returning to the Middleton Arena with an event showcasing household items, travel, fashion, auto, wellness, investments, education, foods and more! Show hours are Friday, May 25 from 3 to 8 p.m. and Saturday, May 26 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Presentations, demonstrations, live entertainment and 80 exhibitors from around the Maritimes to buy something special or visit.
Plant and yard sale
May 26 Plant and Yard Sale on May 26 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 noon. To be held on south side of Highway 1, across from TRA Foods (Lower Middleton). Proceeds help support ETA Master service projects such as Macdonald Museum, Kings Theatre, Historic Gardens, Chrysalis House, CNIB, Sleeping Children Around the World, and Teddy’s for Tragedy. Beta Sigma Phi is an International Women’s Organization celebrating 76 years of Life, Learning and Friendship.

May 26 The 19th annual Candles and Classics will be held at Annapolis East Elementary School May 26 at 6 p.m. for 6:30 p.m. Delicious three-course meal; dinner music provided by MRHS Senior Concert Band. May 28 The Public Health Agency of Canada has funded Mobility Team Workshops for seniors in Middleton. Learn about canes, walkers, scooters, hip protectors and grab bars from seniors and experts who know. Workshops begin May 28 and run every Monday until June 18.
