Kids' art for Canada Day
As part of 20th anniversary Canada Day celebrations, the Burlington Community Club invites all children ages five to 12 to enter the Children's Poster Art Show Sunday, July 1, at the Burlington Community Hall, Long Point Road, Kings County.

To enter, draw or paint a picture on 11”x17” paper to illustrate what you think Canada looks like on her 140th birthday. Put your name, age, phone number and community on a 3”x5” file card, as well as on the back of your entry; and bring your poster and file card to the Burlington Community Hall June 30 between 10 a.m. and noon.

All entries will be on display in the hall during Canada Day celebrations the next day. Visitors will vote for the poster of their choice by secret ballot in two age groups: ages five to eight and ages nine to 12. Cash prizes of $20, $15 and $10 will be awarded to the first three winners in each category. Participation certificates will be given to everyone who enters.

Phone Charlotte Dexter at 538-0205 for more info.
