Senior police academy in Digby
The Digby RCMP detachment will be offering a six-week information course geared toward preventing crime and maintaining control and independence.

This is offered on to people over the age of 50. We will be meeting on Wednesday mornings beginning May 23 until June 27 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Superstore Community Room. There is no cost.

This course will include a series of guest speakers to discuss such topics as fraud, safe banking, fire and emergency safety, personal safety and home security. Also discussed will be medication safety, fall prevention safe driving, identity theft and the Vial of Life.

We will address elder abuse and discuss your rights as a senior community member.

Binders with handout information will be given each week and the course will finish with a special recognition for each person involved.
