The Eastern Kings Memorial Community Health Centre (EKMCHC) Walk-in Clinic will be closed Saturdays and Sundays, starting July 4 through Sept. 6, as well as statutory holidays (July 1, Aug. 3, Sept. 7) due to a lack of physician coverage.

The Walk-in Clinic at EKMCHC, Wolfville, will remain open from 5-9 p.m. on weeknights and all other services provided by the EKMCHC will not be affected by the summer weekend closures.

Annapolis Valley Health encourage patients who would normally visit the EKMCHC Walk-in Clinic on the weekends to contact their family physician or visit Western Kings Memorial Health Centre in Berwick, open Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. or the Mud Creek Medical Clinic in Wolfville, open Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

As always, The Valley Regional Hospital Emergency Room in Kentville is open for emergency care.
