Nov. 20 - Movie night with ‘Mid sunshine and sea breezes’ filmed in Digby area in 1928. Show at 7 p.m. in Digby Regional High School theatre. Free will offering. Sponsored by Admiral Digby Museum. Nov. 20 - Business Awards of Excellence dinner in Royal Canadian Legion, Mount Street, at 6 p.m., hosted by Digby Area Board of Trade with guest speaker Tim Curry, president of Atlantica Centre for Energy, Saint John. Nov. 22 - Coffeehouse with Brian Wamboldt and Noelle Lucas in performance at Oakdene Center, Bear River, at 7:30 p.m., presented by Bear Rhythm. Nov. 23 - ‘Snow Angel’ Christmas concerts in Trinity Anglican Church, Digby, presented by Fundy Chorale with special guest Robert Milne. Concerts at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. Tickets at the door or Marshall’s Gifts, 245-4606. Nov. 23 - Gospel music in Full Gospel Tabernacle, Lequille, at 7 p.m., featuring Curtis Chute and Bayshore Gospel. Nov. 28-30 - Annapolis District Drama Group presents three one-act plays by local writers in King’s Theatre, Annapolis Royal. Tickets and schedule information at box office. Nov. 29 - Christmas tea in Acaciaville United Baptist Church Hall from 1– 4 p.m., with bake sale, crafts, ‘touch & buy’. Everyone welcome. Enjoy Christmas music. Nov. 29 - Pre-Christmas turkey supper in Bear River Fire Hall from 5–6 p.m., sponsored by Bear River Fire Department and Auxiliary. Proceeds for upkeep of chair lift. Nov. 29 - Breakfast in Breakfast Freemason’s Hall, Digby (across from high school) from 7:30 – 9 a.m. Goodwill offering. Everyone welcome. Nov. 29 - Loyalist Christmas tea & sale in Trinity Anglican Church Hall, Queen Street, from 1 – 3 p.m. Bake table, jams, pickles, crafts & silent auction. Dig out that costume and join in our final Loyalist celebration for 2008. Nov. 30 - Vivaldi’s ‘Gloria’ in St. George and St. Andrew’s United Church, Annapolis Royal, at 3 p.m., presented by the Royal Consort. Tickets from West Side Studio or choir members. Dec. 6 - Christmas dance in Oakdene Centre, Bear River, from 7 – 11 p.m. Country Music by Oakie Peck & Friends. Free will offering for lunch table.
