There were 139 reports made to RCMP between July 14 and July 17.

Two vehicles collided on Commercial St. in New Minas last Monday and another collision occurred in Coldbrook.

Two counterfeit $5 bills turned up in Greenwood. A home in Aylesford was broken into. Cash, a camera and alcohol were stolen

A garage in Waterville was broken into. A lot of hooting and hollering was reported in a Hillside Ave. apartment at 7:29 p.m.

Early last Tuesday morning a driver hit a fox on Bridge St. near Kingston. Unable to kill the animal with a tire iron, he departed. An observer flagged down police, who were able to dispatch the fox.

Department of Natural Resources contacted police because “a male is burning outside,” but the problem was brush burning.

Someone tried to steal the camp day change box at Tim Horton’s in Wolfville.

A Dempsey Corner resident reported deliberate damage to the roof of a house on two occasions.

A vehicle parked on Highland Ave. in New Minas had its air conditioning pump stolen.

A Black Rock Rd. resident reported a gas can stolen out of a shed. Police found it empty on the beach.

A 15-year-old male tried to shoplift at Zellers in New Minas about 2 p.m.

There were two collisions in Cambridge: one at 2:09 p.m. and the other at 4:56 p.m. During the latter, a trailer detached from a truck and hit an oncoming car.

An officer on patrol arrested a drunken man at a gas station in New Minas at 5:25 p.m.

There were two separate fights in Coldbrook involving youth. There was a loud party on Gaspereau Ave. in Wolfville.

Four youth were reported for being loud outside a business on the Starr’s Pt. Rd. in Port Williams.

At 2:46 a.m. there was an attempted break-in at an Aylesford business that was disrupted by the alarm.

A driver went into the ditch in Woodville at 8:24 p.m. An ATV was stolen out of a shed at Brooklyn Corner overnight.

There was a 911 call about a vehicle on fire in New Minas. A 911 caller reported a fight on a lawn on Highbury School Rd. near Canaan at 4:52 p.m., but all participants were gone when police arrived.

A Coldbrook business operator asked police for extra patrols near a coffee shop.

Police gave two boys a stern warning after they used lighters to start a grass fire in Aldershot.

There’s gas-and-go. Now we have eat-and-go. A restaurant operator in Kingston flagged down police when two men fled on bikes without paying.

A scam artist tried to make a local gas station pay for new shoes. He blamed oil at the station for his dirty sneakers.

A driver on Pine St. in Greenwood hit two children at 2 p.m. and failed to stop. The woman was blonde and driving a black car.

A yellow lab in Wolfville ran away and was returned to its owner by police.

There were six domestic incidents, one sudden death, two mental health calls and a parent who reported a son for theft.

There were 13 false business alarms, one false residential alarm and 13 false 911 calls.
