Candle light vigil

Dec. 6 marks the National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women. A candle light vigil will be held in the town hall Thursday, Dec. 6 at 6 p.m. Participants welcomed to show support to help end violence in our community.

The Yarmouth County Historical Society presents the 14th annual Christmas house tour and yuletide tea Saturday, Dec. 8. The Yarmouth Rotary Club will be selling Christmas trees at Saulnier’s Home Hardware starting in early December. Proceeds to support Rotary’s projects.

The prostate cancer support group meets the first Monday of each month (7 p.m.) at the Lions Club on Parade Street. Spouses welcomed and encouraged to attend.

Temple Baptist Church’s Solid Rock Cafe drop-in center is opened on Wednesdays from 1-4 p.m.
