A fundraiser for Allan Doucette who has had a hip operation and has to travel to Halifax for medical appointments, will be held at the Twin Village Social Club in Amirault’s Hill Sept. 29 from 12 noon to 6 p.m. Seafood chowder, rappie pie, bake sale and Chinese auction.

Benefit fundraiser

There will be a benefit fundraiser at the Knights of Columbus hall, 10 Collins St., Sept. 29, for Doug Surette who has been diagnosed with cancer. Fundraiser starts at 12 p.m. Rappie pie, (eat-in or take-out) bake table, donation jar.
