The youths, from the Prince Charles, Maple Leaf and Riverside clubs, met last Sunday to practice for the woodsman contest.
The three components of the division involve splitting and shaving wood for a fire in order to boil a can of water, crosscutting blocks of wood from a beam, and a back tank race.
Erin Corkum will be participating in the public-speaking competitions.
