At Ross Farm Jan 10 & 11 Tatting demonstration in Rose Bank Cottage - fashionable lace making from the 18th and 19th centuries. Also: visit the barns, workshops, hot chocolate in the cottage and horse and sleigh/ wagon rides. Bluegrass musical show Jan 10 at 7:30 pm at the Royal Canadian Legion, Wolfville. Entertainers include the Dearman Sisters, Bill Sherman & Friends Valley Blue, Randy Sheffield and Friends and emcee Harold Hunt. Admission is $5, canteen, 50/50. Doors open at 6 p.m. Concerts Jan 11 at the Forties Community Centre from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Admission is $5, featuring Ron DeAdder and Julia Dempsey, Eleanow and Reg Trembley and many more! Canteen and free tea and coffee. Jan 11 gospel concert at New Beginnings Center, Greenwood at 2 p.m. Music by Sonlight and Robbie Jamieson. Admission $5. Come and enjoy an afternoon of Gospel music. The program is a "bell ringers" session, where table displays will be set up with VGC members present to answer your questions on seeding, veggies, herbs, water gardens and favourite gardening computer sites. Groups move from table to table when the bell rings. All welcome.
