YMCA auction

The Yarmouth YMCA’s 4th annual travel and leisure auction is taking place on Saturday, May 3, at the Yarmouth Golf and Country Club. The Yarmouth Fire Department auxiliary’s craft fair will be held at the Yarmouth fire hall on Pleasant Street Saturday, May 3, (for one day only this year) 9-4:40. $1 door charge for those age 10 and over. Woodworking, painted glass items, baked goods etc.

There will be a scallop potato and baked beans supper at the Valley and District fire hall, Deerfield on May 3 starting at 4 p.m. Proceeds in support of sending children to Camp Peniel.

A toonie fun day for ages 5-10 years will be held at the YMCA on May 3 from 2-4 p.m. witgh sports, games, Nintendo Wii, Dance Dance Revolution, bingo, and prizes. Canteen available with all items $1 each. Admission $2 includes a ticket for a door prize of a Super Soaker. Proceeds go to local elementary schools for a gift basket for children in need.
