Light Your Way to Health

December (Until Dec. 24)

Light Your Way to Health - buy a light to decorate the tree outside the Annapolis Community Health Care Centre. Bulbs are available at the Health Care Centre or Fancy's Jewelry, Annapolis Royal. They may be given in memory of loved ones. Monies raised will go towards needed medical equipment.

Cheesecake Tea

December 13 The Veterans Unit Cheesecake Tea will be held from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Veterans’ Wing, Soldiers memorial Hospital. Proceeds for Veterans activity.

Senior band concert

December 13 MRHS Senior Band Concert in the main gym at 7:30 p.m. Coffee and desserts for sale. Prize draws. Freewill offering.

Blues Night

December 14 Second Annual Blues Night at the Annapolis Royal Legion Community Centre. We welcome back the popular B-Town Blues Band for an encore appearance, beginning at 8 p.m. Dinner from 6-8 p.m., features a deep-South-inspired menu of pulled pork sandwiches, succotash, cane river salad and southern bread pudding with rum sauce. Limited number of advance tickets at $10 per person, includes the concert. Limited number of rush tickets at the door for the concert only, $5 per person.

Baptist Family Night

December 14 Paradise Baptist Family Night: Caroling and Cocoa. Meet us in the church building (10273 Hwy. 1, Paradise) at 7 p.m. for an evening of Christmas caroling. Christmas Party

December 14 Community Christmas Party at the Lawrencetown United Baptist Church starting at 6:30 p.m. Refreshments, singing, entertainment, Deacon elves and Santa.

Christmas celebrations

December 15 Come to the Christmas at the Railway Station at 61 School St., in Middleton. Festivities are from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00, noon. There will be good music, carol singing and refreshments.

Country Christmas

December 16 Come to our “Country Christmas” program at the Inglisville Baptist Church starting at 1:30 p.m. This will feature Bob Banks, Garnet Banks, Eileen Clarke and Bernie Legg. All welcome.

December 16 The Annual Youth Christmas Program will take place at the Albany Community Church at 7:00 p.m. Food Bank donations gratefully accepted.

Christmas Concert

December 16 Christmas Hymn Sing and Sunday School Concert at Wilmot United Baptist Church on Dec. 16 at 7 p.m. in the Christian Fellowship Centre. Come enjoy your favorite carols along with Sunday School presentations celebrating the birth of the Saviour

Christmas Cantata

December 16 A Christmas Cantata will be performed Sunday, Dec. 16 at 7 p.m. at Bridgetown Baptist Church. Presented by choir director Debbie Rice and the Senior Choir. All are welcome.

Royal Consort

December 16 A Royal Consort choral group, under the direction of Caroline Bosley, presents a concert of Christmas carols, old and new at St. Luke's Church, Annapolis Royal on Sunday, Dec. 16 at 7.30 p.m. Tickets are from choir members or at Westside Studio, Annapolis Royal or at the door. Proceeds will help support the Annapolis County Children's Foundation (Family and Children's Services).

Preschool Christmas Story

Cribbage Tournament

Christmas Bird Count

December 29 Annapolis Field Naturalists Society will sponsor the annual Christmas Bird Count on Saturday, Dec.r 29. All are welcome to take part, either as field observers or feeder watchers, no experience necessary. To participate call Jerri Costa (532-7420) or Dave Tinker (532-2916).

Palliative Care Training
