Supper and Sale

November 29 All Saints’ ACW will be holding their annual Christmas Casserole Supper and Sale at All Saints’ Church Hall, Pleasant Street, Kingston on Thursday, Nov. 29, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Menu: a large variety of casseroles, salads, and desserts. Cost: Adults $8 and children $4. Family rates are available. There will be a bake table. Takeout available.

Blood Pressure/Glucose Clinic

November 29 A Blood Pressure and Blood Glucose clinic will be held at Hutchins Pharmasave in Annapolis Royal November 29 from 2 to 4 p.m.

Lions Christmas Trees

November 29 The Annapolis Royal Lions Club Christmas Tree Sale starts November 29 at the Annapolis Royal Home Hardware lot. Thank you for your support.

Dessert Buffet

November 30 A dessert buffet and theatre night will be held at St Luke's Church Annapolis Royal, starting at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $6 and can be reserved by calling the parish office at 532-0913 any morning, Monday through Friday. This event is sponsored by the Projects Committee of the Anglican Parish of Annapolis.

December 1 A Christmas Tea & Sale sponsored by the Kingston United Church Women will be held on Saturday, Dec. 1, from 2 to 4 p.m. in the CE Hall, 773 Main Street, Kingston. Baking, crafts and white elephant items will be available as well.

Book/Yard Sale

December 1 Annapolis Valley Grandmothers & Others for Africa will be holding an indoor Book and Yard Sale on Saturday, Dec. 1 between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. in St. Mark’s Chapel Annex, Church Street, 14 Wing, Greenwood. New and used items including hard and soft cover books, plants, framed pictures and more. ‘Just Us’ fair trade coffee. Proceeds for the Stephen Lewis Foundation’s Grandmothers’ Campaign.

Christmas Treasures

December 1 The 30th annual Annapolis Royal Farmers' & Traders' Christmas Craft Market will take place at the Legion Social Centre from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Over 70 vendors will inspire your Christmas spirit from handcrafted treasures to the unique. Canteen operated by the cadets. Door prizes. Admission. Outdoor tables are still available.

Christmas Craft Show

December 1 Annapolis Royal Fire Department Auxiliary is holding its second Christmas Craft Show at the Annapolis Royal Fire Hall from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. $2 admission. Various baskets to buy tickets on. 33 vendors. Canteen available.

Middleton Christmas Parade

December 1 Parade begins at 10:30 a.m. from Annapolis East Elementary School. Anyone or group wishing to put an entry in the parade, please phone 825-6611.

Middleton’s Family Christmas Celebration

December 1 Following Middleton’s 10:30 a.m. parade, wagon rides at Rotary Park; Santa, Stumpy the Clown and face painting at AEES. Lunch and entertainment will also be provided. Free admission with food bank donation. Pre-registration is required, phone 825-6611.

December 1 Middleton Choral Society, directed by Maureen MacLean, presents its annual Christmas concert in Bridgetown Baptist Church at 8 p.m. Judy Foster will accompany on piano, Debbie Rice on organ. Special guest will be Kurt Haussecker on flute. A free-will offering will be taken.

Exhibit Opening

December 9 Pickled Beans and Candied Dreams Exhibit Opening, on Sunday, Dec. 9, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Macdonald Museum, Middleton. Free museum event. All are welcome. Friendly Neighbours

December 9 Annual Christmas Mommies and Daddies Telethon and Auction will be held December 9 at the Aylesford Fire Hall and will be aired on Channel 13 by Eastlink TV from 12 noon to 8 p.m. To make a bid or a donation please call 847-2007. All proceeds go to The Friendly Neighbours to help provide a ‘Happy Christmas’ to needy families in the Coldbrook to Kingston areas. Sponsored by EastLink TV, the Lions Clubs of Ayelsford, Berwick, Coldbrook, and Kingston.

Christmas Cantata

December 9 The ABC Chorus with the Trinity Church Choir will present a Christmas Cantata "A Shepherd's Tale" on Sunday, Dec. 9 at 7 p.m. at the Trinity Anglican Church in Digby. Admission is free and all ages are welcome.
