Computer Workshops

Citrus Sale

November 8 The Annapolis Royal School Bands are selling citrus fruit, poinsettias, and beeswax candles as a fund raiser. Oranges and grapefruit come in full($37) half($20) and quarter cases($10). Poinsettias are available in red and white ($12). Candles are available in red and gold ($10). Order from a band member or call 532-0444 by November 8. Pick up day is Saturday, Nov. 24 at ARRA from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Bake Sale at the Greenwood Mall from 9 a.m. until 8 p.m.

Ecumenical Fall Fair

November 10 An Ecumenical Fall Fair will be held on Saturday, Nov. 10 at the Annapolis Fire Hall. Four denominations of churches will present crafts tables for hand made items, baked goods, produce, raffles, etc. Luncheon is $7 with chicken soup or chili and assorted desserts. Fair opens at 11 a.m. and luncheon at 11.30 a.m. Admission free but donation to the Food Bank is appreciated.

Chinese Auction

November 10 Annual Chinese Auction at the Kingston Lions Hall. Doors open at 12, noon, draw starts at 4:00 p.m. Also 50/50draw, door prize and canteen available. For more info or to make a donation, call Donna at 765-3838.

Remembrance Day Service

November 11 Annual Remembrance Day Service will be held at the Brickton Community Hall starting at 2:00 p.m. Refreshments to follow.

Gospel Night

November 11 The Bear River East Baptist Church will be having another Gospel Night Sing-a-long on November 11 at 7 p.m. Refreshments to follow. Everyone Welcome.

Friends in Bereavement

November13 Friends in Bereavement is a support group for those who are mourning the death of a loved one. We meet on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month at the Salvation Army in Bridgetown. For information call Carol at VON Annapolis at 665-4804.

November 16 A Baked Bean Supper will be held Friday, Nov. 16 from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at Emmanuel Church, 37 Gates Ave., Middleton. Menu: Baked beans, potato scallop, ham, brown bread, homemade pies. $8 per person.

December 1 The 30th annual Annapolis Royal Farmers' & Traders' Christmas Craft Market will take place at the Legion Social Centre from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Over 70 vendors will inspire your Christmas spirit from handcrafted treasures to the unique. Canteen operated by the cadets. Door prizes. Admission. Outdoor tables are still available.

Friendly Neighbours

December 9 Annual Christmas Mommies and Daddies Telethon and Auction will be held December 9 at the Aylesford Fire Hall and will be aired on Channel 13 by Eastlink TV from 12 noon to 8 p.m. To make a bid or a donation please call 847-2007. All proceeds go to The Friendly Neighbours to help provide a ‘Happy Christmas’ to needy families in the Coldbrook to Kingston areas. Sponsored by EastLink TV, the Lions Clubs of Ayelsford, Berwick, Coldbrook, and Kingston.
