The Valley United U-13 girls’ and senior women’s soccer teams remained unbeaten in NSSL indoor soccer play through the Feb. 12 weekend.

The U-13 girls improved to 15-0 on the season with a 5-0 win Feb. 13 over Dartmouth. Shea Beaton had four goals and Serena Dolan one for Valley.

The Valley senior women improved to 11-0-2 with a 7-1 victory Feb. 13 over Halifax County. Z.Z. Leighton had a pair of goals, with singles by Acacia Dunphy, Whitney Fisher, Brittany Green, Becca Stunz and Sara Reid.

The Valley U-14 girls were also victorious Feb. 12, improving to 3-8 on the season with a 6-0 shutout of Halifax City. Gabrielle Lazaric and Mackenzie Pardy had two goals each, with call-up Serena Dolan and Haley MacDonald adding single markers.

The U-13 boys improved to 7-2-2 in playing to a scoreless draw with Halifax County, also on Feb. 13.

The U-18 girls had a loss and a draw in their two games Feb. 12, and remained first in their division with a 6-1-5 record. Their first game with Dartmouth United ended in a 2-2 draw, with Julia Levernois and Nadia Davidson scoring the Valley goals. In the second game, Dartmouth scored a 3-1 win, handing Valley its first loss of the season. Kinsella Noseworthy-Smith had the Valley goal.

The U-16 girls also played a pair of games Feb. 12, playing to a 2-2 draw with Halifax County, then losing 5-2 to the same opponent. Beth Lawrence and Emily Merks had the Valley goals in the first game, and Julia Collins and Hillary Roberts had their team’s goals in the second. The results left the U-16 girls with a 4-7-1 record.

The U-18 boys played to a 2-2 draw with Dartmouth Feb. 13, with Kyle Dutton and Calum MacRae scoring the Valley goals. Valley stood at 4-3-5, second in its division, entering play this past weekend.

The U-14 girls (3-8), U-16 boys (9-5, first in their division) and senior men (6-5-1) did not play that weekend.
